In the flexing portion of the walking process we see the real difference and benefit with Insolia Flex. With Insolia Flex the foot is fully flexed, with essentially no pressure on the heel. The pivot point A has fully dropped with the arch B fully lifted, and the forefoot bearing all of the weight. All so the foot can naturally flex and efficiently push off to lift the body weight and move the body forward. Without Insolia Flex the foot has not fully flexed resulting in a much less efficient push off and lifting of the body weight, resulting in leg and lower back muscles having to make up for the the loss of efficiency. This compensation leads to an uncomfortable walking experience.

With Insolia Flex, natural ball of foot flexibility happens, easing the ability to raise the heel and stride efficiently. The pivot point A has properly lowered into position, causing the arch B to be fully raised to its maximum supported alignment. This permits the foot to move naturally with a highly efficient push off. It permits efficient lifting of the heel C and allows for a full stride during walking. Without Insolia Flex the ball has not fully flexed D resulting in a much less efficient push off. It must then strain to lift the body weight E, resulting in leg and lower back muscles having to make up for the the loss of energy. This compensation leads to an uncomfortable walking experience.
